This Scheutzen rifle is built on a Borchardt sporting action.
The lever return spring that is common to the Borchardt action was not used on this rifle. Anew design was incorporated that is not attached to the barrel. This allows a take down barrel to be used incorporating the interchangeability of barrels. The extraction system will work on rimmed cases up to 45 - 3 1/4. This Scheutzen rifle is in the Schoyen style. The Zischang double set triggers are incorporated inside the Schoyen lever.
Two barrel styles were used. An octagon to round barrel with wedding band and a tapered octagon barrel. Both barrels have muzzle crowns. This rifle is suitable for Scheutzen, sporting and hunting.
The two different fore end styles incorporated can be used with the detachable palm rest.
Traditional Soule style sights with windage adjustable front and rear and front spirit level. Pope sights are also available.
The rifle nitre blued screws, charcoal blued receiver, rust blued barrel and electroless nickel on the but plate.
