HOME
This rifle was built on an original military receiver.
It was reshaped into the sporter style & cut for
side panels. Because of the poor condition of the
falling block, lever & internal parts new pieces
were created & installed into the original receiver.
A new barrel & stock completed the rifle. The
machining, bluing, color case hardening, stock
work & finishing was all done in house. The other
artisan involved in the completion of this project is
the engraver Carmine Lombardy.
The Colt Collectors Association requested
the oil bottle, turn screws, brush and
cleaning rod for their 2006 Show Gun cased
set. Mike Dubber did the engraving.

Shown below is in the white.

To the right are the finished parts.

The recreation of this Borchardt is based around
a new receiver machined in the original sporter
style. The machining, bluing, French gray, color
case hardening, sights, stock work & finishing was
all done in house. Angelo Bee did the engraving
work complementing the flowing lines of the
receiver and stock used on the original Borchardt
sporter.
